Between May-September our beautiful bell tents are available and there is further accommodation for more guests in the village just a few minutes walk away which can be booked separately and at an extra cost.

Bumble Bee Cottage
A beautifully restored one-bedroomed cottage set within our herb garden with all the modern comforts and touches including underfloor heating, log burner and a sky-light over the shower. It has a king bed, kitchenette, lounge and shower room. Perfect for the bride or groom to get ready in for the big day or perhaps parents of the bride or groom.

Songbird Cottage
This cottage was named after “Songbird” written by Christine McVie from Fleetwood Mac who was the previous owner. She kept all of her records and awards in this building before we lovingly transferred it into another one-bedroomed cottage. With all the modern comforts and touches including underfloor heating, full equipped kitchenette and a stunning sky-light over the shower. It has a king bed that can be turned into singles, a lounge and shower room. Another perfect option for the the bride or groom to get ready for the big day or perhaps parents of the bride or groom.

Fuschia Cottage
Originally the caretaker's cottage this quaint two-bedroomed property has been tastefully renovated and is perfect for a family of four or five with one larger bedroom that has one king bed and an optional small single bed that can be added, whilst the other bedroom is small but perfectly proportioned with a bunk bed. Both bedrooms have full-length mirrors. The cottage has a great-sized lounge and separate kitchen with all the amenities.

Kula Dormitory
The kula-dorm was once the tack room for the family horses and has now been totally transformed into a beautiful eight-bed scandinavian-style dormitory. We love to see people's reactions when they walk up the steps and open the door into this room because it is always an unexpected surprise. Opposite this building you will find another converted outbuilding that was once the gardeners tea room with kitchenette and is now three gorgeous light filled shower rooms.

The Country House
What’s Inside
The Quaives country house is a magnificent mid-17th century Grade-II listed Elizabethan property with shaped Dutch gable ends north-east and south-west. Over the years the house has been extended, remodeled and refurbished whilst maintaining the beautiful historic features that we adore. On the ground floor you will find a large entrance hall, a huge kitchen, dining room and three reception rooms. On the first floor there are four large bedrooms and two shower rooms, and the third floor has two bedrooms and two bathrooms. There is the option to take just the four rooms on the first floor or to hire the whole house.
Sunbeams Room
A large beautiful light-filled room with two big windows over looking the garden and fields. This room has an interesting history previously being Fleetwood Mac - Christine McVie’s bedroom (rock royalty!) when she lived here before the current owners. Sharing a shower room with Chestnut Tree Room.

A perfectly proportioned twin room with plenty of space for two overlooking the garden and the magnificent chestnut tree. This room captures the most beautiful sunset skies and the sounds of the songbirds.

A large semi-en suite garden view room with two windows over-looking the manicured gardens and an array of mature trees. On a clear morning you can see the first glimmers of the suns rays at dawn and in the evening the moonlight sparkling through the trees at moonrise.

The Tipi
Our handmade sioux style tipi offers a unique, immersive experience for all guests. It’s not only visually striking on the outside, when you step inside the height and the look of the beautiful poles leading to the top is captivating. A totally magical sleeping experience for 1-6 people.
2 Deluxe Luna Tents
The majestic luna tents are a modern twist on the historically-loved Yurt Tent design, with high side walls and roof. The inside feels spacious and protected from the elements, with beautiful moon-shaped mesh windows for welcoming in a cool bug-free breeze. Available March - October for 1-4 persons.
8 Deluxe Star Bell Tents
These stunning canvas star bell tents are a set up from your traditional bell; spacious, stylish and comfortable, they are available May-September, pitched perfectly as if they are in their own little village in the wild meadow on the Quaives estate.
