Far away from busy life, is this beautiful paradise!
— By Ts, Germany

With a wealth of experience in organising retreats we offer free consultation in curating the perfect get-away for you, your client(s) or Team. Pick the activities you like or let us know if there is something you would like to offer that we don’t currently have on our list and we will try and make it possible! If required we will help with scheduling to ensure it all flows and runs smoothly with enough time to relax and unwind in between.

We are a luxury small estate with 19 acres of grounds with beautifully manicured gardens, with an array of flowers, plants and trees. We have a large pond with fish and frogs with small waterfalls at both ends. We have a beautiful 17th Century house which is where our family live, and 8 outbuildings for use for your retreat. We have an 8 seater scandinavian wood-fired outdoor hot tub for relaxing in and enjoying the surrounding nature and nighttime stargazing, with an outdoor cold shower. A tennis court with rackets and balls that our guests are welcome to use. We are surrounded by sky, treelines and countryside with lots of beautiful walks, and neighbouring picturesque villages with traditional kent oast houses and mills. The estate has some interesting history; being previously owned by Christine McVie from Fleetwood Mac for 25 years.

There is a total of up to 16 beds for your guests accommodation spread across 4 buildings within the estate. There is further accommodation for more guests in the village just a few minutes walk away which can be booked separately and at an extra cost. This is the layout;

The studio itself is a dreamy space! It is incredibly light and spacious with high ceilings, and underfloor heating throughout. The up-lighting adds a soft glow, and sunlight floods in from the sky light and huge windows on either side of the studio. All glazing has motorized blackout blinds so during relaxation you can use the remote to blackout the entire space within seconds. We also have a commercial grade sound system inbuilt that can easily link to your phone or computer as well as suspended projector in case you wanted to show visuals or training videos.

Choose to be catered for on site with our highly skilled chefs who have a great passion for nourishing all our guests with gourmet vegetarian food, that is tasty, inspiring, and meat. We source as much produce as we can from local organic farmers. Our chefs also love wild food, so you may be lucky to find some carefully foraged foods on your plate. Our goal is to start growing an abundant Kitchen garden of our own produce here in the grounds at The Quaives, so that we become more self-sufficient. This also means that our food will have less mileage, less packaging, and no chemicals.
